Let Us Say Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Let Us Say

Let us say

Let us say we landed on the Moon
Yes, we did…

Let us say we have seen Orion
Hubble did…

Let us say we found God Particle
But did we?

Let us say man has made arms and legs
Artificial? We have made…

Let us say medicine and vaccine
Reduced sudden deaths…

Did the questions exist?
Of course, did…

Weren't there for too long?
Possibly, we are late to reply:
Who made the origin?
How were made?
And purpose?

Questions are most ancient;
Still are, as have been…
Shall remain…

So, let us join Khayyam
To head for the divine
Of peace, love
In the jar of the wine…

Let's forgive,
Then forget
The "Who? ", "Why? "
And the "How? "

These questions are long lived,
Will remain our questions
Forever to the end!
