Let Us Believe Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let Us Believe

We need no high rise building
Only trust yielding
Approach With little care
And work for needy and poor

What do they want?
Nothing free if you can't
Just give them basic things
Potato and onion may help to bring

They are not for any luxury
Reduce their plight and worry
Give little work to survive
Just a bread and green chilly to live

Just see their work under sun
With umbrella also we can't run
They are sweating for good living
"Fate" they may reply while answering

Make it available in plenty
Let them not feel poverty
'Poor man is called god" in Hindu mythology
Let us only believe in humanity
