You've shut me out,
Of your world,
I'm out of the loop,
Please let me in.

I want to be,
Where you are,
I cannot find,
A bright new star.

To follow you,
And find my way,
You're a creature of the night,
I live for today.

It's cold and dark,
Where you've gone,
Your loneliness,
It feels so wrong.

It makes me feel,
I'm lonely too,
Your love has always,
Seen me through.

Life's trials and lows,
A world so grim,
Please open your heart,
And let me in.
