Life's Questions Poem by Aisha Sherazi

Life's Questions

Childhood Questions...
Am I big or small?
Am I short or tall?
Am I slow or fast?
Am I first or last?

Teenage Questions...
Am I good pretending to be bad?
Or bad pretending to be good?
Do you love me for me?
Am I the me I see? ?

Adult Questions...
Am I doing all I can?
To keep myself afloat?
Got to keep moving,
In this busy boat.

Old-Age Questions...
Have I lived each new day?
With joy each step of the way?
Or did I waste my precious days,
Now it all seems such a haze.

Life’s Questions...
Those Questions,
Each stage a brand new time,
Each challenge something fresh,
Each hill a bliss to climb.
