Let It Snow Poem by Andrew Vassell

Let It Snow

Rating: 4.5

We stood in the window
glazing at a snow lit winter
night. So bright the snow
glared on this December
night. Heat from your
body transcends through
me, as we remembered
what today is meant to be.

Let it snow as we reflex
the birth and existence
of our greater being and
not forget who gave us the
breath we breathe or this
love we share so endlessly.

Look as the snow embraced
the trees and the plants bow
gracefully, look at the love
he shared with me and so
this day I'll treasure you
unconditionally.

Let's not forget the ones
with no food to eat or the
man without shoes on his
feet. That old lady in the
home, without someone to
call her own and the baby
in the cold with a blanket
and many holes.
