Let It Go Poem by Esther Hadassah Sendeza

You cannot keep catching fire,
Everytime someone pulls out a lighter.
You cannot keep reacting,
Everytime someone throws you a trigger.
No matter how many times you are provoked,
How you react is your choice.

Leave the room if you have to,
Ignore,
Disengage,
Back off,
Or choose to remain calm.

Do not allow your energy to be contaminated,
Do not allow your aura to be polluted.
Choose what is worth your reaction,
And learn to let some things go.
