Less Poem by Kimberly Diane Allen

Less

I feel their judgment, a seething hatred for me.
Loathing me, yet nothing of me being known,
by my type I am caste.
I am 'those': worth less, use less,
Name less ones.
Knowing not where I, who I, what I came from,
I am unspoken history and earn no
consultation of precedence.
By their ignorance, I am deemed less.
Too often, I have believed them.
