Led Astray Poem by Steve Santerre

Led Astray

Rating: 0.5

Veered from my path, all direction lost
The forest of trees, the unending tranquility of this place
Birds fluttering from their nests, leaves dancing in the wind
The lightness of the sky, soft and weak, grey, calmness
That harmonious connection with the world,
To a point where life becomes still, and as clear as day
The path I walk now, never again to be led astray
