Leave Me Out Of It ~to My Mom~ Poem by jasmine ellis

Leave Me Out Of It ~to My Mom~

im sick and tired of getting attached to one
havin fun
the love had begun
conversin with them
laughin with him
its best if you dont tell me anything about wut goes on with you
the drama_im through
i dont want to know his name
if he has his games
i dont want to even know who he is
it IS your biz
i dont want to meet the man yet
cuz i bet hell be out the picture before we had met
i dont want to meet them at all
if you find another one
id be happier at the mall
now you see why
the dating thing to me doesnt apply
why cant you just leave it alone
if they call so much
turn off the freakin phone
it rings and rings over and over
i dont think you could gain luck with a four leaf clover
i wont even get my hopes up
no ifs ands or buts
this time
i dont want to know
more are in line
i cant wait till i go
far away from here
so i wont have to watch a tear
to tell you the truth i never did like any of the men you talked with
non_wutsoever
when you were single was better
you wonder why im always down
always wearin a frown
cuz i know wuts next
the worse can happen-not the best
every 7 months or a year a new one comes alone
you should have a reality tv show
'HOW I CANT GET MY OWN'
thats wut it seems like
people would watch it _so many fights
but you say ill understand
but i understand that you keep datin these SO CALLED men
your so caught up in all of this
you dont know how much i miss
my old life
i regret that i didnt kill myself with that knife
it would have been 5'9 and 127lbs off you
you dont like wut i do
you might say you love me
but i dont see
you dont love how i wear my hair
'TAKE IT DOWN ITS TOO ~OUT THERE~'
you dont like my style of clothes
your more focused on your hair messin up when it rains and the wind blows
dont you have more important things to worry about? !
i wish i could dropp out
this life of yours_for me_doesnt fit
another thing you always take wut they did to you out on us
is all this drama a must
they did we didnt do it
so next time just leave me out of it
