Last Regret Poem by Nyl Revol

Last Regret

I got the little bottle
With the magic little pill
I can't wait for the moment
To be fufilled.

I lock the door
And write the note
And throw out the old one
I had already wrote.

I grasp the water bottle
And then take a sip
With the pill, suddenly I let go
And through my fingers, it slips

Splashes to the floor
Spills all around
As it hits and tips
Onto the ground.

The lights are dimming on me
Its getting harder to see
I see the people I love
And the way we used to be.

Its getting darker now
All I am thinking is 'Wow, '
'I'm going to miss this, '
'All this bliss.'

Sarcastic thoughts,
There certainly are lots.
But at last, I only see
The glint of the lamp.
And I am soaked in my own sweat,
I have my last, final,
Sad regret.

Wow. That was intense. Very sad. But flowing in the words, very good.
