People who lived before me I cannot see.
Those who will live after are hidden from me.
I contemplate the vast remoteness of heaven to earth.
Alone! Depressed! My tears fall!
登幽州臺歌 Deng1 You1zhou1 tai2 ge1
陳子昂 Chen2 Zi3ang2
前不見古人 Qian2 bu4 jian4 gu3 ren2
後不見來者 Hou4 bu4 jian4 lai2 zhe3
念天地之悠悠 Nian4 tian1 di4 zhi1 you1 you1
