Kisses Poem by ktarcus ...

Kisses

Remember the kisses we shared
or the walks in the park,
how we cared.
They are long gone now,
but not forgotten.

You came to me as an angel,
all smiles and laughter each day,
then,
something changed between us.
We got old.

It's a long time that we are dead,
so they say,
yet I believe that I know of the time.
It started the day you left me,
three weeks after you said you'd be mine.

I wander these woods daily.
In the hope you will return,
perhaps out of pity,
or wonder,
recalling the good times we had,
the day my life was ripped asunder.

I still miss your kisses.
