Tissues and issues

The look on your face could not disguise,
The hatred you felt at the tissue of lies.

One born every minute,
I'm bound to say,
I longed for your friendship,
pretended to be gay.

We laughed we grew closer,
shared secrets a plenty,
But then you found a new man my heart broke,
it was empty.

I wish I had spoken more words from the start,
about how you made me feel and the ache in my heart,
Insecure in myself I let my love slide,
Now you suffer in silence with one I can't abide.

He doesn't treat you right but you try to disguise,
'Everythings just fine'
damned tissue of lies.
