Kiss now, those important to you
And tell them while you can
That you love them so very much
Take time to hold out your hand

A hug is a powerful message
A smile and a pat on the back
Angry words need to be swallowed
Or spoken with contemplation and tact

For life is so incredibly fleeting
We need to stop to realize that
It’s too late once they’re gone
By their deathbed where you sat

Pick a sweet fragrant flower
You don’t have to have a reason
Find a special quality in them
Tell them, no matter the season

Don’t wait for a special holiday
Although that’s a good time too
To send a message of love
Don’t forget to say, “I love you.”

You don’t need a reason to comfort
Or sickness to smooth out a brow
Today is the day you can do it
Stop everything and kiss them now!
