Kenkey And Shito! !
Enjoying my local food in Ghana;
Noted with the muse of the Hot Pepper called, "Shito"!
Kenkey And Shito,
Enjoying my local food;
Yes! With fried fish! ! !
Ability of my culture,
Noted with my tradition;
Day and night in Africa!
Serving the food after preparation,
Having balls of kenkey, hot pepper, onoions and tomatoes;
Insight of the fried fish!
The flavour of the kenkey and the aroma of the shito,
Only to enjoy my meal in Ghana.
Oh, how our traditional foods can nourish our souls. I learned something new today through your poetry. Your love of your homelands traditions and your love of food which was well expressed in this poem. Well done, Edward.
