Colossal tears flow down the cheeks
our beloved dog has gone
we gave him everything we could
he returned it ten times strong
he enriched our lives with a gleeful grin
at least it was for us
If a dog could smile at everything
he did, he was the plus
The algebra to our geometry
the verbs to all our nouns
he showed the meaning of pure love
and never let us down
the tears might flow like rivers
and our minds might hurt like hell
but his life will live forever
in the stories that we tell
