The Bizarre, Grotesque Goddess,
The Menstruating Goddess,
Representing the Yoni,
The Tantrica Cult practised and carried down to
Over the years,
Relating to the age-old Shiva-Sati story and the myth
And the Neelachala Hills and the Brahmaputra
Overlooking the poignant spectacle
For the folks to hear the mythical story
With awe and suspense
The Divine Staggering
With the body of Sati
And the fall of the part thereafter
At various places turning into sacred spots
Of the Motherly Consciousness.
