Just you and me
For each other -
We sit face to face
Look into each other’s eyes.
For every word in my thesaurus
I find the meaning in your eyes
And so do you do.

Just you and me
For each other -
For good or bad.
Good we’ll do together
Together we’ll tackle the bad.
We’ll love our kith and kin
As they are
For whatever they are.

Just you and me
For each other -
We had our moments happy
We cherish them till this day.
Unhappy times tried us
All of them we did overcome
Funnily, they now look funny.

Just you and me
For each other -
We’ve seen many a season
They’ve seasoned our life.
We’ve faced many a weather
And weathered all of them.

Just you and me
For each other -
Our life goes on simply
With no question mark whatever
But with an exclamation point!
