It only takes the one person
to steal
for you to believe
everyone is a theif.
It only takes the one person
to lie
for you to believe
everyone is a liar.
It only takes the one person
to betray you
for you to believe
you can trust no one.
It only takes the one person
to tell you, you can't
for you to believe
that you are incompetent.
It only takes the one person
to tell you there is no way
for you to believe
its impossible.
It only takes the one person
to give 'it' back
for you to believe
everyone isn't out to hurt you.
It only takes the one person
to tell you the truth
for you to believe
there's some truth to life's nonsense.
it only takes the one person
to gain your trust
for you to believe
you can trust someone.
It only takes the one person
to tell you, you are capable
for you to believe
you can.
It only takes the one person
to show you there is a way
for you to believe
its possible.
