Before I Knew You

Rating: 5.0

Before I knew your smile
I felt no need to make you happy.
Before I knew your laugh
There was no reason to be funny.
Before I knew your touch
It didn’t seem to be a necessity.
Before I knew your kiss
I didn’t yearn for your lips at all.
Before I knew your affection towards me
I thought I could do it all alone.
Before I knew your love
I thought my search would go on forever.
Now that I know your
Smile,
Laugh,
Touch,
Kiss,
Affection,
And your love,
It’s hard to imagine being without it.
