Just Me Poem by Danielle Floyd

Just Me

I know she is who you see in your dreams
Blonde-haired, blue-eyed
Flawless 'dancer' body
Mini skirt paired with long, lean legs,
The bare skin of her neckline
To her ankles
The goldest shade of bronze,
Glowing, picture ready smile
Face of a goddess

And yet i am the one that stands before you now
Offering all that i can give
Just Me
Just these chesnut locks
Green eyes and blue jeans
Just this beautiful, tortured,
scared, lonesome soul
Only the scarred heart of a
Lover and a Fighter
