Just Leave Poem by Rutvi Padhy

Just Leave

Rating: 5.0

If you really wish to leave,
Don’t make it slow,
I wouldn't stop you,
You can leave,
Just go.
If it really has to end,
Don’t wait for me,
Leave without a word,
Just leave if you wish…

It would give me less pain...

Don’t make me cry,
Don't make a promise,
Leave,
Need not say goodbye.
It hurts to watch you go,
Your love, it pricks my soul,
Don’t walk away,
Leave quietly,
I shouldn’t know.

You’ve given me precious memories, yes,
So let me cherish them,
Let me smile,
Don't remind me of how you leave me,
Hurt,
Broken by the Aisle...

Lovely piece of poetry that acknowledges the fact that love could be whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning. A nice piece indeed. Thanks for sharing.
