Just Because Poem by Lore Me34

Just Because

Just because my skin is mocha brown doesn't mean that I am a thug. Just because my first language is Spanish doesn't mean that I traffic drugs. Just because my eyes are slanted doesn't mean I am a genius. Just because my skin is pale doesn't mean I am innocent. Just because I am of the Muslim faith doesn't mean I am an enemy to the states. Just because I have a disability does not mean my ability you should underestimate. Just because I am a female doesn't me the weaker gender. Just because I am part of the LGBTQ community doesn't mean you should be offended. We need to recognize America is built on all kinds of people who are just because.
