Just Another Beat Poem by Sierra Love

I turn it up
to the point of insane
letting my mind soak in it
my heart beats perfectly with the rhythum
the lyrics pierce my flesh
diving right into my sole
winding their way through my body
untill they reach my feet
which, in responce
cannot help but to jump around to the beat
twisting and turning
my whole body swaying
within the air
which thickens by the second
I grab the nearest person and pull them close
this is not a dance of desire
but a dance of love for the music
which repeatedly shakes our bodys
I open my eyes
visions of sweat, flesh, and constant rhytum
pound into my mind
in this moment
I am no longer Sierra
but just another beat
in the constant pulse
