Just A Bad Person Poem by Ragy Sandid

Just A Bad Person

Rating: 3.5

I wanted to live
So I cut off the umbilical cord
Does it matter if
With my teeth or a sword?

I wanted to love
What else do but stalk?
Should I have asked politely
Waited till we had the ‘talk'?

I wanted to understand
So I jumped out
With or without a chute
Does it matter since
There is no truth without doubt?

Yet for all I wanted
Everything I do is a crime
Waiting for the right courtroom
And the worst one of all
Is the courtroom of time

Yes I needed to be a victim
In a place where all claim to be
I needed so many people
The least one I needed was me
