Just forgiveness
Just another story
That end in tolerance
No, there’s no glory

Just kindness
Forced or unforced
Just a reminder
Life runs its course

Just continuance
That allows us to be better
Or worse in distance
Our conscience our ghetto

Just surrendering
That next morning
Might not be than the rendering
Of events that led to scorning

Just forgiveness
The kind we all need
Just living with less
Than the anger we feed.
