Juliet To Romeo Poem by Gabriella Mantone

Juliet To Romeo

Rating: 4.0

Oh dearest love, thee dearest love, lays bloody in this tomb. Thou drank this drink of death and darkness, and left thee to thy doom.

Thou my love, my Romeo how could you leave thee lone. I can taste the poison that chilled thy veins, as if they were my own.

The flowers that rest for my own death have shriveled like the sun. This retched poison hast killed our love, as quick as it begun.

Every day will last like a lifetime, every breath I shall feel more unworthy. Because without thou to love, and without thou to cleanse, my soul shall grow more dirty.

So to thy lips, draw one last kiss, to taste thy poison sweet. Let it run three body straight to thee heart, let it be out loves defeat.

But no, oh no, my body still whole, this murderous kiss hast not killed. My heart it still beats, and my veins blood still flows, death shall not follow thee will.

So let thee take this dagger and plunge it through thy chest. Let this blood for our love, gush from my heart and my breast.

Romeo, thou Romeo, how my heart did love you so ever. And even though thee heart be still, it shall love thou on forever.

Would " Romeo to Juliet" say the same? Love when one loved you.
