Jordan Valley Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Jordan Valley

Jordan Valley

To learn more of the past
In back seat sister sat
Her husband passenger
I drove; through Village
Of Dwarf…said the sign:
“Catch your breath.”
A sign of, the Pan Am…
Mostly arm and muscles
The chest of swimmer.

Soon, was gone to absence
I went back to ages
To schools, studies
The thick books in class
And outside; to catch up.

All surfaced
Terminologies; Physiology, Biology, Anatomy,
Charles Darwin’s theories, evolution
“Water things, turned monkey, human…”

See us now…
I am shocked.
