Johnny Cash Looking At Daddy Poem by B.3 BBB

Johnny Cash Looking At Daddy

How I interpret it

Pushed by Fear
Ran by Anger
Caught up in the world
My Heart can't take it
Fueled by jealousy
It's what I had become
Off my High Horse is where I'm from
Are these repercussions from my up bringing?
Or is it my pride that has me singing
Attack my character, life isn't but a dream
Sanely living is what I want to be
Auto Pilot is how this feels
Images running through my mind
It's hard to see what's real
Pan back and take a look a little longer
Get some Grit and come back stronger

An interesting poem, although I'm still trying to figure out the title and how it connects to the poem. By the way, this appears to be the first poem that you have posted to this site, so welcome to Poem Hunter!

Hey Thanks, there isn't much structure in my story. I'll explain I watched Johnny Cash 'walk the line' yesterday. The scene where he is sitting at the dinner table with his Ol Man and family. You can tell Johnny is a mess from his dad and longs for attention. Johnny is sort of lost in this world and hardened from his choices But gets a grip on life and comes back to Folsom prison! I feel like this man and suppose my poem is deeper than the eye. Grit for me means GOD and I learned love triumphs evil.
