Jimi Hendrix

They Froze You Out, Cold And Blue Like The Deep Sea, Just As Remorseful And Tragic.
The Stars Had It In For You, In The End.
Your Music Was Bought And Sold, Your Managers Reaped The Benefits, Your Joy Was Short-Lived In The Recording Room. Out On Stage You Battled Your Demons In The Public Eye And Behind The Scenes Your Friends Diminish To Leave You Sat Alone In The Dark.
You Choked On The Stress Of It All And The Barbiturates Surely Helped Bring The Sleep You Long So Craved For. And Still You Sleep. Your Strat Stopped Burning That Fateful Morning Along With The Fire In Your Heart That Was Losing Heat Long Before The Circuits Expired.
Did The Spirits Come And Take You To Your Destiny? I Hope Your Answers Came Swift And Sure, And That Now You Are Experienced.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
