Jillian Poem by R.Benjamin Abate

Jillian

Rating: 5.0

8.24 in. of rain fell in Philly
A week after I left-
From the Den the Japanese Fox watches- the Rain Spirit

You'd think I talked to Noah-
I'm in Exile now - I dwell
On Your smile - Your soul - Your body

State of confusion in Syracuse,
New York, New York
Dreaming only of You

lil Jill - Jilly-bean - Jilly-been
The thrill of the scene
With Kindness - such Grace

Profound - Articulate touch
Dynamic - you'd think
Picasso painted her with his Brush
