Jesus -the lamb of God


Is an offering to God
to take the first born to preserve life
Is a gift placed upon the altar
the wine showered to us
from the blood of man- divine
Is the burned sacrifice of pure incense
the praises glorifying Christ
Is Jesus the lamb and the shepherd
the first born and the last
and final sacrifice
Is the altar- the body of Christ
Is the church- the people of God
receiving the initiation of faith
love and justice
-the salvation for human race.
