+ X* Aking Panginoon Poem by Jordan Legaspi

+ X* Aking Panginoon

Rating: 3.3

Pagsikat ng araw
Pag-asay naghihintay
Limot dusa’t liyaw
Damdamin bagong buhay
Kahit muli’y lulubog yaring araw

Pagsikat ng araw
Landas siyang tatahakin
Dala’y pangarap mithiin
Kahit man aabutin ng takipsilim
Ika’y naghihintay walang pagdimdim

Pagsikat ng araw
At namasdan mundong makulay
Kagalakan ng aking pusoy
Nagpahiwatig pag-ibig yaring tunay
Mandi’y ako’y maliit itoy nag uumapaw

Pagsikat ng araw
Lakas mo’y angkin
Babalik ang sino mang naligaw
Dahil sa pagsikat ng araw

WOW! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I just hope i could make such long tagalog poem my friend. Funny but the problem with me is I have a hard time constructing poem in our own filipino language. I have tried several though it came out a complete trash that it didnt rhyme nor have a lovely imagery or poetic pictorial unlike what you did here. It is a shame for me because I may be regarded as not patrionizing my own language as what our national hero said. However, i feel that its a hallow reason for i love and value our country very much....Proud that I am. Congratulations! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! 10+++

Good poem very idealistic and very hopeful. True during the 60's years. But now even we have the sun shining brightly it seems all the hope of our countrymen were all lost with the problems there. Majority of the people are suffering from poverty created by our public servants under the leadership of Arroyo. Gas prices, rice prices etc... So let's just continue dreaming then that the sun though up there people of the Phils. will still suffer. Hopeless! ! !
