Jesus Poem by ESPN CHICK

Don't you know that God so loved the world
He gave his one and only son
To die on the cross for our sins
So we could have everlasting life

Day of Jesus' birth he was wrapped in swaddling clothes
He laid in a manger
People all over walked for miles and miles just to see the newborn king

Mary never knew that she would have to give up her own son to die
Mary and Joseph raised Jesus to what God wanted him to be
Watching him grow up a sinless man and sending him to die for our sins
Seeing him get beaten and bruised

Watching him bleed and bleed
And getting nailed to the cross with a thorn crown
Everyone yelled crucify him in the crowds

Mary watching her son suffer and die right in front of her own two eyes
Yet her faith remained strong
Three days later Jesus arose from his tomb
And said one day he will return

Jesus can return at any moment in time
We need to be prepared
But instead we are shooting down God

Saying we don't need him
But one day it will be to late
We won't be able to enter the kingdom
God created us all and wants us with him in heaven thats why he built something out of nothing
