Jenny The Cat Poem by Paul Butters

Jenny The Cat

Rating: 2.0

My sister’s cat Jenny:
Purrsian Pussykins:
Oftimes “Picky Porsche”,
Meow,
Meow,
Meow.

Attention seeker supreme,
Just loving every stroke,
As if she’s licked the cream.

She rolls onto her back,
Her paws held cutely up;
A cuddly temptress...

To Pounce
With widening eyes
For exciting
Biting!

Cats are a delight, but not when they shread the back of one's sofa. I had one that used this as his scratching post. Is love strong enough I said to myself. They purrvade one's life. Love Ernestine XXX
