Jealousy Poem by Elisabeth LuesleyGreen

Jealousy

A swirling black mess,
consumes my mind.

My heart and eyes turn green,
like acid

My blood turns toxic in my veins,
as it poisons me.

I am sick to my stomach
as my mind plays tricks.

Past is past. A time gone
But why must it still affect?

This monster consumes me,
Takes me.

And fills me with sickened hatred
upon myself.

this is very true...if we are jealous of somebody our health and life is affected and not theirs...well expressed
