Janet’s Journey Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Janet’s Journey

Janet was ready to go to the supermarket
She was wearing her luxurious lucky locket
From bottom to top she filled her big basket
When it came time to pay she blew a gasket
Prices were out of sight… like a skyrocket
She’ll have to take her necklace and hock it.
