A Dog Tale Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Dog Tale

Rating: 4.7

A Dog Tale

My little dog has a doughnut tail
It wraps around in a perfect circle...
When he wants special attention
he dances in circles on his hind legs

Seeing a squirrel…he runs in circles
until he tuckers out and falls down
If he hears an intruder he circles
around and bites him from behind

When it is time for supper he circles
his food dish…gaining momentum
When it is time for bed… he circles
his doggie pillow…and there he plops

All and all, I have to say, he is a
well rounded pooch with a glowing
halo above his furry perked up ears
He's a swell pal to have around

Working in an environment that has more dogs than residents can sometimes be a little stressful. So your fun poem brought so many smiles. Thank you, Theresa. And congratulations to you and your doggie for Poem Of The Day!
