Jade Poem by Billy C. Samer

Jade

The windows of stars and summit of green in forest—
The willows snowed by satin marmalade.
The riders dwarfed by dreams and fantasies jade
On road as sparrows sing of Java fest
By river, swans raising love near nest
Remembered songs I swan as pupils dilate
The tangled branches squirrels in Palisades
Are swimming-born-again romantic tenants. On Tappan Zee the Java Head and Ossining
In world I'm free to jazz on home at ending
Of dragon skies, beyond are city tails.
The firemen in flow and jerks on high in hail
And deer on story marketplace they feel.
Our driver steers into vacuum tunnel.
