Its The Way That Jesus Is
It’s the way he curves his lips
To me
That makes their brows to knit
It’s the way he bids me come
“My son”
That makes them all to scorn
It’s the way he teaches me
The truth
That keeps them at his heels
It’s the way he forgives me
My sins
That makes them doubt him more
It’s the way he heals off my
Disease
That makes them call him names
It’s the way he shows me
Total love
That makes them hate him more
It’s the way my Jesus lived
His life to show me how to live
That made their heart to crave
The day that they would see him hanged
