Its Not That I Am Not Afraid To Die
IT'S NOT THAT I AM NOT AFRAID TO DIE
It's not that I am not afraid
To die
I am-
But I am far more afraid
Of being infirm
Of having to depend on others
For all kinds of small things
Of being a burden to my family
Of losing my powers in such a way
That Indignity is my principal portion-
Yet what I fear
Does not determine
What I will be given-
