It Was You All Along Poem by Dani Miller

I wish I was with you,
I feel so alone.
You make me so happy,
Though it never shows.

Have you ever noticed
That I smile in your presence?
and I stare into your eyes,
And realize you are my blessing.

Do y ou know the way I feel?
Because that is how it seems.
Can you see right through me?
And retrieve my every feeling?

There are times when you
Make me feel like the best.
And that nothing could ever
Put my happiness to rest.

And then I hear some things,
That couldn't possibly be true,
But then again I know that
These hateful words could be from you.

Each time my heart cracks open,
I see someone hanging tightly on.
I can't believe it took me until now,
To realize it was you all along.

I dont know when I wrote this...I found it a few weeks ago and I dont even remember who it is about.
