'It Seemed So Real, I Never Want To Wake Up Again' Poem by Jason Young

'It Seemed So Real, I Never Want To Wake Up Again'

I lay in bed locked in a cell with nothing to do but think of you,
Last night I had a dream that seemed so real it was about our baby girl,
Like I said the dream seemed so very real,
She had blue eye's and a smile that made me realize how happy she was to be in this word,
I held her in my arms as a tear came down my chin not wanting this moment to ever end,
I turn my head and there you where, Jayden, Silver, Jayla, and me as a happy family,
Then I woke up with a smile that turned to a frown, I looked all around there I was still locked in a cell,
Then a real tear came down my chin just to think it was all a dream & what could of been,
I never want to wake up again
