It's Time To Fly Poem by Xelam Kan™

It's Time To Fly

For centuries
my wings been clipped
and have turned upon me
the blue sky dark...
And the sweet words swarm the earth.

The winds howl and Chaos hangs aound that hault my sleep.
They have taken all: our hope and dream.
yet their averice remaines insatiate.
A terrible itch to live with
but i am standing
still and unafraid. I feel
my fainted heart beating that ask for revolt.

And the day is not far off
when Jerusalem will fall down
and I will see the blue sky
and the bright stars, and
my wings will get stronger again
and I will fly and scream
in the open sky.

There is something that i wonder in this poem while reading it... " when Jerusalem will down and i will see the blue sky... is there any particular historical event you read that inspired u to write this. I think you are expressing and tell much from your mind and thought after reading, that alone is like screaming in the open sky :) .
