It's Dark Inside Poem by Anisa Tara

It's Dark Inside

Rating: 5.0

Another day begins and ends,

The honorable Emptiness presides.

These walls are standing high,

Nothing is ever allowed inside.

A demon came in last night,

With open doors he found home.

Went to town on my heart,

Then abruptly left me alone.

It was bad before he entered,

Or so I convinced myself.

Now that he's gone for good,

I can't seem to clean up this mess.

Maybe someone can light it up,

It's darker than it's ever been.

Although some have tried so hard,

I still wish it was him.

Maybe someone can light it up, It's darker than it's ever been. Although some have tried so hard, I still wish it was him. life, love, hardships, closeness, nearness, sense of loss, desire to be one with .. all those powerful expressions..a great poem indeed. tony

Life is hard, not easy and swings from high tops to the deepest valleys. The valleys can be cruel cold and filled with so much pain that getting out seems close to impossible. When we keep searching inside that deep place, we may find the path of unconditional love, forgiveness and start bit by bit notice the beauty that is never far away.. I pray for all those in this darkness, for strength and help.
