Is Love Blind Poem by Richard Noggin

Is Love Blind

Those that say love is blind
Have never been rejected.
They haven’t lived inside my body.
They haven’t felt the pain in my heart,
Or wiped the tears away with my hands.
Maybe I am destined to live alone.
But at least I won’t have to live in this prejudice society.
Where people are judged on their looks,
And not on the content of their character.
For I will leave before that happens.
