For just this one night
Is it okay if I cry?
Everything's alright
Don't bother asking why
Cause I'll be fine by tomorrow
I'll bottle up all that sorrow
I'll put back on my smiling mask
No one will know, no one will ask
So just for one night
Is it okay if I cry?

You tried to comfort me
You even held my hand
Do you even KNOW me?
What would you understand?
Just leave me be and let me go
I'm nothing like the girl you know
I' m just a whole bunch of lies
And fake Mona Lisa smiles
An empty shell in disguise
I strive so hard to hide
This worthless pitiful side
But just for this night
Is it okay if I cry?

To wipe off that smile
Only once in a while
To let go of that face
And drown in disgrace
To loosen up these chains
To break all these seals
To be reminded by the pain
What it was like to feel
My misery and despair
How life just isn't fair
To bask in that darkness
To wallow in loneliness
To be broken and sad
Would it really be bad?
If it's for only one night
Is it okay if I cry?
