Is It Fair? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Is It Fair?

Is it fair?

As if they
(displaced and losers to the wars
imposed on by greed and powers
external, internal; therefore numb
and still by the shock deaf and dumb.)
have no rights;
they are named:
"Terrorists…"
and ignored
and deprived.

But our side
the soldiers, journalists
killers and formalists
see doctor…
as patients diagnosed
and pitied:
"Are diseased with sickness
of PT, S and D".

One sky and one time
treatment so varied?

How can we?
Is it fair?
