Irish Smile Poem by Natasha Edwards

Irish Smile

We danced across the Ha'penny
then we strolled on by the sea
that is where my true love turned
And this is what he said to me

Oh I would gladly walk the oceans
And I'll gladly walk the mile
Just to catch a glimpse of you
Given me your Irish smile

Moon Shadows kiss the liffy
Dublin lights caress the tides
And I will love my true love
Until the end of time

He said,
He'd gladly walk the oceans
And I'll gladly walk the mile
Just to catch a glimpse of you
Given me your Irish smile

Whether me days be many
or whether they be few
I'll nor be sorry
That I'd spent em all with you

I'll gladly walk the oceans
And I'll gladly walk the mile
Just to catch a glimpse of you
Given me your Irish smile
