International Women's Day Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

International Women's Day

Rating: 5.0

woman, definition in dictionary:
name for the weaker sex.

we thought it would bring us fame,
great fame

but
never noticed in all the years
year after year,
month after month,
week after week,
day to day,
in all these years,
only fears, constant fears,
so many women have shed so many tears!

we have to stand up for ourselves

if we don't, no one will do it for us!

I can tell you that!

i wish all women around the world:
a happy and pleasant women's day
today!

Dictionary may call woman - a weaker . But the modern women of the world have proved themselves as very strong and inspiring.
